Kristjón Grétarsson

Kristjón, or Kris, was born and raised in Reykjavík and Keflavík, but spent his summers as a young boy exploring the Icelandic countryside on a farm with different domestic animals and pure nature. His love of nature, hiking, climbing, and guiding doesn't go unnoticed by his family and friends. He also manages to squeeze some golfing into his schedule but admits that there is room for improvement in this field.

As a certified Glacier Guide and a Wilderness First Responder, Kristjón has climbed many of the Icelandic peaks with his friends, both in winter and summer conditions, and reached the summits of some of the most renowned peaks in the Alps. With years of experience as a professional driver guide in Iceland, Kristjón has established a loyal following of very happy customers.
