David spends much of his free time travelling around Iceland with his kids, camping, hiking and exploring, paying forward what his parents did for him growing up in Iceland many moons ago. Consequently, one of his favorite sayings is: The more you travel around Iceland, the less you have seen of Iceland. Before becoming a tour guide, David spent 12 years in 3 universities in Iceland and Sweden resulting in him becoming a jack of all trades, master of none, except Applied Ethics and International Development. His passion, however, is his job as a tour guide, where is revels in the privilege of showing off his native land and recounting its many fascinating historical, cultural, geological and contemporary tales and observations in his legendary light-hearted, yet nuanced and personal way.
